Dr.Vibha Shihorkar is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist by profession. She is a mother to two kids, a son and a daughter. She is a practicing doctor since the last 16 years. She has always been an ardent lover of art,especially literature and music. She first came to know about her ability of writing a good manuscript at the age of 13 , when she was complimented by her Hindi teacher(Teacher Pagare) then , that someday she would become a famous author.She has grown up listening to fairy tales and she has strong inclination towards romance. Therefore her genre will almost always be romantic fiction. However she believes in practical romance and not a fantasy based romance. She is a strong believer in women empowerment , also because her profession deals with women and She has been hearing their(women of all ages) plight and to an extent have been counseling many. Though she is a feminist she doesn’t believe feminism at the cost of inciting or harboring hatred for men. She is passionate about music. Though she is well versed with Marathi(mother tongue), Hindi and English only ,yet she can sing in 14 languages. She has immense affinity for ghazals, her favourite shayars being Mirza Ghalib(Asadullah khan ghalib), Faiz,Allama Iqbal.
