SARA-ORB OF MYSTICGON BY Jaislin Samkutty I saw a girl standing in a dark empty place. I was feeling little chilled. There was no light but I can see the girl was crying in pain and in terror and she was trying to say something to me but I can’t hear what she was saying. When I came closer to see who the girl was I was shocked and my eyes got wide open. It was me. I got scared and then the girl got burned, she screamed out loud. Then I opened my eyes and heard the alarm voice. I switched off the alarm. I sat in my bed for a while. I was sweating and I said to me in my mind, “That was just a dream. But I never had a dream like this. It was scary but I felt like real. I think it’s just my nightmare”. Then i folded my bed sheet and arranged it properly. I got ready, made omelets for breakfast, ate them and went to café for work. I opened the door of café I saw my Boss Marjorie having a problem. She was holding three plates of food for customer it was about to fall. So, I went there held the plates and served the customer. Marjorie asked, “Sara, Why are you late today? Why is your face so dull? Did something happen?” I replied,” Actually my alarm didn’t ring on time and I had a nightmare but I am fine now”. Marjorie said,” OK! You completed your graduation, did you plan what you want to do or study next”. I replied, “Yes I will be your employee”. Marjorie said,” I am serious. Since when you were kid, you were working here. You must try to come out of your comfort zone. Think about it”. Then a customer ordered food I went to serve. I was working all day and I was also thinking about what Marjorie said. Sun started setting and Café was closed for the day. I was still thinking about Marjorie’s advice, and then I saw a child was crying I came near her and asked,” why are you crying little girl, did something happen?” The girl replied,” I put a seed of rose, months ago in ground so that I can see it grow but now I have to go to California and leave this plant here. I wish it would have grown a little bit so that I can see a blossom rose”. I said,” OK...Will you promise me what I will do now; you won’t tell it to anyone else”. Girl said,” I promise. I won’t tell anyone. But what will you going to do?” I put my one hand on land and closed my eyes, my hand started glowing and plant started to grow and two blossom rose came out of it. Girl was happy and surprised and then her mom called. She gave me a hug and kiss and said,” Thank you”. I was really happy for that kid. While walking I was thinking,” My abilities and powers are tremendous but I cannot use in publicly. If I use it in front of everybody they think I am a freak and put me in the asylum or worse I will become a lab rat of scientist. I wish there was a place for me where I can use my power freely. I wish I was in another world”. Then I saw a shooting star. It was beautiful. Suddenly my phone rang and I saw it was my friend Gazelle who like to read Taro Card and she is unique like me. She gets vision about future. I pick up her phone and said,” hey, what’s up?” She replied, “Are you ok?” I asked her,” Yes, I am fine. Is everything ok? “She replied, “I am fine Sara, it’s about you”. I got tensed and asked her,” What about me, Gazelle?” She replied,” I was practicing Taro Card and I had a vision I saw you were kidnapped by few men. They were wearing weird and different clothes and one of them was your dad. It happened in forest. I know you won’t believe me. But take care of yourself”. Sara said,” I will take care of myself and secondly my dad and mom died in an accident when I was little. How they can possibly come back to life. Hello...Hello. Why I am not getting signal?” When I looked in front I saw I was in the forest. I was so busy in talking that I haven’t seen where I was going. I started walking to find a way to come out of forest. Suddenly, my leg slipped and I fall and rolled down. Then I saw a bright light and I closed my eyes and rolled down and hit a stone. I got hurt in my head and i was bleeding a little bit and I felt dizzy for a while. I stood up and heard the voice of waterfall. Then I went near the voice I saw a beautiful waterfall and then I saw water. I went near it and washed my face. Suddenly I heard a voice behind me and I felt someone is standing behind me. Then I gathered my courage and looked back. Then a white powder which felt like magic powder was thrown on me and I was about to faint when I saw image of a man same as my dad and then I became unconscious. I slowly opened my eyes and I put my hands on my head. Then I saw someone put bandage on my head and I was wearing different clothes. The room and bed was beautiful and royal and then I saw a photo frame next to bed and I picked and saw it. I was surprised it was me and two boys and I was standing with mom, dad, grandma and grandpa. I was thinking it’s impossible it must be dream. Then I pinched myself. But it was real. Then a woman came to my room and saw me awake. She yelled and said,” Your highness, Princess is awake”. And then few people entered my room. Two of them were my mom and dad. They looked angry as if they were mad at me. When I saw them I was speechless and I got scared. Then I yelled,” Ghosts! Ghosts!” And I hid myself inside bed sheet. I was really scared and suddenly I heard voice murmuring. Then Dad said,” Sara, get the hell out of your bed sheet”. He forcefully removed the bed sheet. And they saw I was terrified and scared. Then Grandma came near me and put her arms around my shoulder and asked me, “Is everything ok honey?” And I felt the warm and care in her voice and hand as if she was real. I asked, “Are you guys real and alive or am I dead?” Grandma smiled and said,” It’s real and you are not dead”. I asked, “Where am I?” Grandma replied,” You are home. This is your room”. I was confused and asked,” Since, when did this become my room?” She replied,” Since forever, are you, honey”. I was very confused and said,” I don’t remember I have a room such big. And I don’t remember living with you guys”. Everybody was confused and worried. I again felt dizzy and became unconscious. When I woke up there was no one in room. I stood and walked near window. I saw, it was really beautiful scenes outside the window. There was green garden; a fountain where fresh water was coming out and beautiful flowers with variety of colors; as if I was dreaming. But I know it wasn’t a dream, it was reality. I was really confused at the moment because I never been to this place. My dear ones who were dead are now alive. I was confused but I know I can’t get answers to my question by just standing here. I must go out and figure it out by myself. I slightly open the door I saw a man was standing near door guarding it. I thought if they think I am their daughter and I am hurt they won’t allow me to go out. Besides, I saw their expressions, they were really mad at me for some reason except grandma. I must escape from this place. Then I remember that I have power and this is the time I must use it. I gathered my courage and jumped off the window then I used my wind power to land on ground. Then I ran towards gate but there were guards standing near gate. I was scared and hid myself in bushes. Then I went back and I saw the walls. I got an idea, I took a deep breath and again used my wind power to jump on walls and again used wind power to land. Then I ran as fast I can. I saw a forest and then I thought I came through forest maybe there is a way through forest to back home. I went into forest and ran.
